About the Government rebate for heat pumps

The Government of Canada provides rebates for heat pumps to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and help homeowners lower their energy bills.
To receive the rebate, you will need to submit an application. A certified contractor will then conduct an initial audit. After that, you will receive a list of recommended upgrades, and you must complete at least one of the recommendations to proceed. Once the upgrade is complete, you will receive an energy audit to apply for a heat pump rebate.
Please note that the conditions of the programs may change, so check the information in official sources when choosing a particular program.
