After months of researching tankless water heaters, we decided on the Navien NPE-240S2, and it has been one of the best upgrades we have made to our home.
Our previous water heater was constantly struggling during busy mornings. With two teenagers, laundry, dishes, and multiple showers happening around the same time, we were regularly running out of hot water. The new installation made an immediate impact on our everyday comfort.
The unit provides a steady supply of hot water without temperature fluctuations, and its performance has been excellent even in cold Canadian weather. We chose this model for its high efficiency, high capacity, and reliable design. The 0.96 UEF rating, condensing technology, and dual stainless steel heat exchangers gave us confidence that this would be a long-term investment rather than just another replacement.
Another feature we really appreciate is the EZNav control panel. It makes adjusting settings simple and convenient, even for non-experts. The unit itself is surprisingly compact compared to our old tank and looks much cleaner installed on the wall.
The hot water is reliable, the operation is quiet, and our daily routine is much easier now. This was definitely the right choice for our family.

Upgrading to the Navien NPE-240S2 was a huge improvement for our home. Our old tank water heater was taking up valuable space and couldn’t keep up with multiple people needing hot water at the same time.
This tankless system solved those problems immediately. The hot water supply is consistent, the unit operates quietly, and we no longer have to wait for the tank to recover between uses.
The new system gave us back valuable space that was previously occupied by older equipment. Very impressed with the quality and reliability of this Navien water heater.
