4 of 5 ReviewsSwitched to the Navien NPE-210A2 after our old tank started giving us problems. Hot water comes quickly and stays at a consistent temperature, even on busy mornings when everyone is getting ready. It also takes up much less space in our utility room. So far, it has been a very worthwhile investment.
What sold us on this model was the built-in ComfortFlow recirculation system. Our ensuite is quite far from the mechanical room, and with the previous water heater, we always had to wait for hot water to reach the tap. The NPE-210A2 has made a significant difference. Hot water arrives much faster, the temperature remains steady during longer showers, and we haven’t had any issues when two people need hot water around the same time. I also like that it’s a space-saving unit rather than a large tank taking up floor space. We did quite a bit of research before buying, and the 0.95 UEF rating and dual stainless-steel heat exchangers were two other reasons we chose this particular Navien. Our installer walked us through the controls after everything was set up, and it’s actually very straightforward to use. We’ve now had it through several cold Ontario months, and performance has been consistent. Very pleased with the decision.
Really impressed with how quiet this water heater is. Our previous unit was fairly noticeable whenever it kicked on, while the Navien just does its job in the background. Plenty of hot water for our family of four and no more worrying about emptying a storage tank after back-to-back showers. The installation looks neat too, and mounting the unit on the wall freed up some useful basement space. Five stars from us.
An excellent choice for a family. Reliable and quiet in operation. The installation went smoothly and the technician gave advice on operation.
Very pleased with this water heater. Not only does it heat water efficiently, but it saves us money.
